Delivery Time Estimates

Thanks @Daybreak, My dealer hasnt given me much for updates whenever I inquire. This was one of my sales reps first custom orders, so I don't think she is well versed in the Rubicon system. I will bring this up to her end of this week or begining of next when I check in with her again.
 
3500 Limited Mega Cab, 4x4, SRW w/6'4" box and Ramboxes

4/19 - Ordered
4/22 - VON Issued
4/24 - VIN Received
4/24 - D
5/07 - D1
5/20 - F
5/21 - I
5/27 - KZ
5/30 @10:13AM - Train departure from Saltillo. Expected arrival at truck distribution yard in Mira Loma, CA on June 12th.
6/05 - Truck is at first rail departure per dealer. Not sure what this means. Expected delivery to dealer, "middle of the month." This update sounds the same as the one I received on 5/30, but I could be wrong.
6/13 - Per phone call with RAM truck is still KZ awaiting shipment awaiting shipment "contract" to be signed. Completely confused by this. I reached out to my dealer for an update, I'll have to wait and see what they say bc they told me on 6/5 it should be delivered to rail yard in Mira Loma, CA today.
6/17 - Called RAM after my dealer moved the delivery date back AGAIN. RAM is "escalating" it because it has been KZ for 23 days. They did say it was KZM this time, not KZ, but promised an e-mail within 3 days.
7/25 - Final Rail Destination

ordered 7-3-19
D-1 7-11-19 ( with a estimated ship date of 7-15-19 )

Checked today and I have KZ with a ETA of 8-3-19
looks like everything is going smooth to this point.

as of 7-30 in New Orleans headed this way. dealer is in Clanton, Al.

Man I sure hope my 3500 doesn’t take that long. I’m hoping 8-9 weeks MAX!! My 2500 last month took exactly 8 weeks to the day.
 
Hello all: We ordered a 2500 Limited back on 5/27. I have a VIN, the Window sticker is viewable. The dealer reported it was at a rail destination in Illinois on 29 July 2019. I contacted chat this afternoon and it is now listed as KZ T (second rail departure). We only live in Indiana so I hope this train ride isn't to Toledo or something.

So far 11 weeks in,,, and the base price went up $250 from when I ordered it .
 
My 3500 is being built right now according to Ram CHAT.. She told me to check online tomorrow for window sticker etc.. Should be in JB in next 24 hours.
Ordered my 2500 it took 8 weeks to the day to get here, on the 3500 ordered it on 07/18, so moving right along.. BUT mine is a fully loaded SWB..

The good thing is, the price on my truck has dropped some more on the dealer website since ordering. Another $500 less than on 7/10.

My truck has arrived at the dealer, it was delivered Sat Aug 3rd, ordered on 6/18. Plan is to pick it up this Saturday. Price before rebates went up on the website from 7/30, so i will have to see if i can get some of that back either on total price or on accessories. I do want a tonneau cover... Will post pics when I pick it up!

Go to autoanything.com they have some covers up to 35% off this week and free shipping. I got the Retrax Power Pro from them. If you also have a signed agreement, price shouldn’t increase to you as it was a sold unit.

Had another chat with Mopar this afternoon. The operator only gave me a KZ status and closed the chat before I could note that is wass "KZ T" last week. And hopefully either still KZ T or hopefully KZ X (delivered to dealer). Sigh. 71 days since order.

10 weeks. That’s about 2 weeks longer than normal. Should be there any day now.
