Delivery Time Estimates

Picked up the truck yesterday from Bill Luke in Phoenix. Very pretty. Turns out the rear bumper was fine. The driver side rear bed fender had two very small paint chips. Touched up and you can't see unless you know where they are. Very happy.

Ordered a 3500 Bighorn HO Diesel , 4x4, crew cab, short bed on 10 Nov 2020. On 20 Nov 2020 dealer provided an update. VIN # provided and ship date of 23 Dec 2020. By the time it hits the dealers lot it will be at 13 weeks and I think that is optimistic time frame with this Covic crap happening.
 
Just placed an order for a new 21 ram big horn. 12/11/20. Was told it could take up to 4 months to picked up by manufacture due to the extra features I put on it. Supposedly a few features will take months to get, and are being discouraged by sales guys.
-V6 version
-Spray in bed liner ( not sure who’s buying without that)
-Rambox (a must for me )

oh well guess I gotta wait ‍♂️ Will update periodically ...

Nice truck is that the 2021 HO diesel ? When did you order.

My salesman talked me out of the spray-in bedliner for two reasons: 1) RAM knows it has a fade issue. In other words, left in the Sun, it fades to grey over time. 2) it delays shipment from the plant as the spray-in is farmed out prior to shipping.
 
Ordered my BigHorn 3500 HO 4x4 CC on Tuesday 10 Nov 2020. On Tuesday 22 Dec 2020 (exactly six weeks to the day that I ordered) a build sheet populated when I entered my VIN #. It's moving along. Hopefully, I should have it by the end of Jan 2021 :) Dealer contacted me this morning. Related the Truck has already shipped. It's getting close.
 
Ordered a Laramie Cummins Night Edition on 9/14 , ramp delivery to Denver Jan 5th so almost 16 weeks . Dealer said lots of issues with trains coming out Mexico, numerous delays.
 
Just finished with RAM Chat. I was given a delivery window at the dealership of 12/29-1/12. That fits with what my Salesman told me last Firday that he had a Ramp Date of 12/31. Supposedly, the ramp date is the day they expect it on their lot. I had to wait to order my RAM, as I was waiting for the H/O Cummins to be released for the 21 model year production run. You can see my date stats in my SIG below
 
My order hit KZLD today. Yesterday it was KZ. Below summary from my fleet tracker and window sticker that was available this morn for the first time.

I just went on Ram chat and was told the truck is in delivery with a window of 1/7-1/21. Ordered 9/29.

I’ve been told 12/3-12/17. Then 12/10-12/24. Now 12/17-12/31. Still no truck. Don’t get your hopes up.....
 
On my 9/14 order was told Dec 19th delivery, then Jan 5th now no ETA and they will update me weekly. Last weeks update delivery unknown.

You couldn't have told me this in September . Still waiting for truck.
 
Yeah, its looking like 14-18 weeks out right now for orders when equipped with certain accessories... not sure if that is confirmed, but its speculated as dealers tell buyers that's the case. Its worth the wait IMO. Spending so much on a truck, you don't want to settle for any on dealer lots that are not to your specs.

Did you have any accessories, like a bed liner or automatic side steps etc?

Yeah, I am hoping. Sales guy said that the delays in shipping can easily take 6-8 weeks. I am kind of hoping it is a mid-late February delivery. I am hoping maybe there are some good incentives in the February-March timeframe. I know they don't put much on these things.
