Mmmmm yummy. I think I’d load my shorts if I was in water deep enough to justify that. Super sexy though

It's super helpful for those in very dusty conditions as well, assuming you get the "syclone" filter.

Why?
Other than being butt ugly, what does it really do?
The stock air intake is above the radiator?
Is anyone really going into water that deep with their trucks?
Or they just want to be a Toyota?

I like most AEV stuff, I would never get a snorkel tho. I agree ugly and no going back once you install it. I know plenty who had AEV snorkels on their jeeps and just not something I ever wanted on mine.

For the vast majority this is pretty useless, but to be fair the vast majority of guys/gals that own jeeps and power wagons never take them off road, so there is that.

If you are doing a lot of stream crossing, it's probably a pretty solid peace of mind. The real win for most in dusty areas are that it keeps your intake far cleaner for far longer with the "syclone" attachment.

A lot of guys just like the look. I dig a lot of truck builds. From desert runners, to overland builds, to stuff that just looks good towing and on the street. I think they look cool but to each their own.

Ughhhhh.. I lost the choice after installing the A-Pillar Baja lights but most likely would not have gotten the snorkel anyways.. but it sure does go a step further in making the AEV look & function come through.. always loved the snorkel on AEV outfitted trucks.

I’m honestly curious how much dust folks are getting in the intake without these - with the 40s and the lift I feel like my air intake is already 4’+ off the ground and at the front, and when I’m wheeling I’m not often driving close enough behind others to be getting a lot of dust from folks in front of me, though of course in windy/sandy conditions you’re gonna get some no matter what. (Last time I went out this came home to roost because I was driving windows open for a while and then realized afterward that the entire dash was covered in dirt, thick runs of sand had settled into the grooves on the rear bumper, etc…)

Has anyone done a before/after compare to see?
