I have a 2020 Ram 3500 with the U-Connect 8.4 with Alpine speakers and a subwoofer under the rear passenger seat. Can I just unplug the subwoofer and remove it without causing any weirdness from the U-Connect system? I could use the extra storage space in the cab.

I pulled my out with no ill effect. I would have been nice of RAM would have used the space behind the rear seats instead of under the seats for the sub.

I don't like it. It is too "thumpy" for my taste. I can't turn the bass down enough to make it tolerable. I think they should have had a separate control for the subwoofer, to allow cranking it down separately from the equalizer.

not trying to hijack, but 4 wires / 1 sub means a DVC? I have not pulled mine out or done any digging, just hoping to know if that was the case and maybe if the HK sub was the same. Would use a pair as signal easy enough for aftermarket if they worked out that way without too much OEM equalizing.
