My dealer says my truck is built but continues to get the delay code KZLD. Does anyone know what that is? The dealer has no clue or won't share.

Sorry, I found some things doing a search of the forums but no definitive answer.

The dealer has no clue because the manufacturer has no clue. Truck gets built, shipped the next day. Truck gets built 4 month ago (mine) still sitting waiting to be shipped.

It's rather fascinating a multibillion dollar corporation has a shipping department that from all appearances wouldn't be acceptable to a third world banana republic. It most assuredly isn't the dealer's fault.

I am curious if they are waiting to receive any parts they still need to complete per my order.

No...it's built and complete. Waiting for a train ticket to go KZM.

How does it take so long to get a train ticket? I am shocked. You would think with all the trouble getting chips and parts to build them, transport would be a top priority to generate revenue.

The manufacturer gets paid once +/- the vehicle is invoiced to the dealership. Once that happens the manufacturer really doesn’t care anymore. Also due to MANY shipping constraints (fuel prices, manpower, transportation etc.) shipping is slow. At one time there were apparently 21,000 trucks sitting around. We are fortunate not to be in that position now.
