Decked USA in 2019 Ram 2500

I also love them still!

I'm actually planning on putting a lithium aux battery and a battery charger in some of the dead space underneath between the ammo cans and the wheel well, just looking for a way to tie down the batteries down there. I think the space should be sufficient. Has anybody done this?
Hi @jupp0r, did you end up making this happen? I've been thinking about the same thing and even have a thread on it going over on ExPo Portal. One rabbit hole that I was being led down was actually assembling your own lithium battery from individual cells. Anyway, curious if you made it happen.

I was not able to fit the battery I ordered (BattleBorn 100Ah) under the Decked drawers. I could have crammed it in there but you don't really want to do that with a battery. I ended up mounting the battery on top of the Decked in a tool box (sorry, not the greatest photo mid install, looks much cleaner now that it's finished).

Is anyone using the Decked system with a retractable bed cover? I want to use the decked system but don’t need a cap and would like to be able to keep a few things dry on top such as my Gazelle tent, Cleanwaste portable toilet, Portable stove, Camp chairs and Bow case.

If anyone has a retractable I would like to ask for the measurement between the top of the decked system and the lowest part of their retractable bed cover. I was hoping for 9.25 inches.

Here is some pics, I can get to it but not a lot of room. To me it’s not a big deal as I don’t use those lights manually very much. You could cut away some material if you wanted more access. Speaking of that, you do have to cut away some space for the tie down cleats as you can see in the pic (or remove the cleats). (I also had to cut away for the trailer plug.)

When assembling the decked system, can you leave out the corner cubby in this corner and still secure the system? I don’t mind cutting the decked thing if needed.

I’m asking because I have OBA installed in that corner

It would probably be easier to cut out the side of that ammo can to create the space that you need for the rocker switch and QDC adapter. The j hooks use a semi circular spacer on top of the corner cubbies to clamp onto that welded d-ring. Also, just cutting into the siding of the cubby would give you space to store and contain other things on that side. I apologize if that doesn't make sense. I'm out of state and can't take any pictures for you..

Edit: looking at the pics I took, you should have enough room to activate the switch (with the ammo can installed in that corner). You probably won't be able to effectively connect your air line
