Dealer said to reorder since no movement since March 5, due to too many chip shortages to order a loaded limited, Yesterday he said Aisin Transmissions are on backorder. Will order a 23 that production starts in September, and may be able to get before end of year. I see others here are getting theirs before mine that were ordered after my 01/20 order, Anybody have any accurate information as far as Aisin transmission shortages.

Last movement for mine was 4/27, called RAM today and they said truck was at a holding lot in TX, waiting for a truck to bring it to SWFL. I wish it was easy to drive myself there and pick the dang thing up!
Loaded HO limited mega cab with night edition if that matters.

Your order must have fallen into the black hole at Stellantis, I ordered my limited dually HO on 1/23 and it's in transit at the moment, I thought I heard something about aisin shortages a few months ago, but who knows.
I'm sure the 2023's are going to suffer from shortages too, this worldwide problem isn't going to get fixed anytime soon

Hmmmm. I was about to call my dealer on Monday to put in a limited 3500 order. Buttt If your dealer is saying in a month we can order 23's I might just have to do that lol

Better MAKE SURE you get the same price. I bought my Laramie on March 5th and the same unit is now 5500 bucks more (MSRP) if you build it on the RAM site today.

yep...just last night built out my exact truck that was 86k when i ordered it....now its 91k....

My dealer just called me and said my limited 3500 HO is scheduled to be shipped on 07/21, the MSRP is now $4300 more if I was to order today and I'm sure the 2023s will be even more $$$. He gave me the option to take my 2022 or order a 2023, he said a 2023 should be early spring next year. Im leaning on getting the 2022 unless the 2023 models have a new tranny! ..................................................Thoughts?

There's a pretty good chance that your truck is not being shipped on the 21st and is actually being built on the 21st. I've seen a bunch of trucks on the order tracking thread scheduled for that week. Check the status of your build on the order tracker.

Sandi at Mark Dodge told me that from the release from the factory it should be 1-2 months depending on port and rail delays to arrive at the dealer.

Personally whether the truck is actually ready to ship or is just scheduled for production I'd wait. You're already locked into a lower price on your order and if it's at least scheduled the process is underway. As far as I know there's no major changes and I doubt they'd honor your price on a 23. Even if they did you'd be restarting the process.

definitely will keep the 2022,on hold, price was locked in January at MSRP of $96355, now exact same build is like $100,400, 2023 will probably be like $105k
