Dash went black

My dash electronics including 11.5 display went black while driving......nothing except speedometer was working, then, came back on.
Noticed a couple times when I started it that I also did not have anything...
Anyone experience this and what should I do?

Mine has done it once or twice. Hold the power button until it hard resets. May fix it or it may need an update.

Thompsre.....I think I understand but, does the connection affect the dash instruments also?

Sorry I missed the dash part, you pull the negative terminal on your batteries for 15-20 minutes and let the truck die completely and see if that reboot helps. I've only ever had the console screen black out from time to time. The longest it stayed off for 2 days and then was mysteriously fine from that point on.

By any chance do you have your headlights switch on auto and your lights turned down all the way? This same thin happened to me the first day I had my truck, turned out the lights turned on automatically & were dimmed all the way, just as the sun was setting. I didn't realize the headlights had turned on, and the entire dash was black, including the display. Turned the dimmer switch up, and everything was fine.
