Dash reflection on windshield

I just got a 2500 limited and the dash reflects onto the windshield pretty bad- the top stitch thread as well as the part that raised for the gauges- anyone have a fix for this?

I got a piece of black leather that has texture and it took it all out- im going to have a guy make a little more formal that i can easily remove

Mine does too. I've thought about maybe a coating or something for the windshield, but I doubt that's even a thing. Maybe it is.

I've kinda gotten used to it though.

Dash mat is the only way i have found, my 01 had much more glare (with what is left of the dash) than the 19

I used to fight a 2018 Chevy with bad reflection coming off of the sloped portion of the rear edge of the hood at times of day when the sun hit it just right. It could be blinding. I folded up a big bath towel and laid it on the dash. Probably looked like hell but very effective.
