The stock tires on my ‘22 ram 3500 Cummins (night edition), I’m not really impressed with. Picked up some road trash the other day in one of them.
Have about 20k on them and figure ill put some new sneakers on the rig, before I make another long trip with the 5th wheel.
90 plus percent of my driving is just around town or to the job show up. I work in all different climates and weather conditions. Snow, rain, desert, mountains etc. But I do need to tow my 12,000 plus pound trailer a handful of times a year. Distance varies, from a few hours down the road or to the complete opposite side of the country. If at all possible, I avoid towing the camper in any type of heavy rain, snow or high winds but will have to commute to work in those types of conditions(but never off-road).
What are you guys running or suggest for new tires?
Anyone go up a little bit on the size and still good to go with long range towing?
Anybody regret what they went with for tires?
