The stock tires on my ‘22 ram 3500 Cummins (night edition), I’m not really impressed with. Picked up some road trash the other day in one of them.

Have about 20k on them and figure ill put some new sneakers on the rig, before I make another long trip with the 5th wheel.

90 plus percent of my driving is just around town or to the job show up. I work in all different climates and weather conditions. Snow, rain, desert, mountains etc. But I do need to tow my 12,000 plus pound trailer a handful of times a year. Distance varies, from a few hours down the road or to the complete opposite side of the country. If at all possible, I avoid towing the camper in any type of heavy rain, snow or high winds but will have to commute to work in those types of conditions(but never off-road).

What are you guys running or suggest for new tires?

Anyone go up a little bit on the size and still good to go with long range towing?

Anybody regret what they went with for tires?

Anything with a 3pmsf rating will due. Pick your poison. Toyo, nitto, falken, Cooper, etc. . Stick with a known brand.

I would say avoid edit: BFg at’s with the diesel. They eat them up.

I ran the falken Wildpeak at3w with great success.

One would think Firestone would be good to go, but these transforce are trash.

Off topic, you IBEW?

They firestones are well documented as being absolute garbage tires. But they must be cheap. Cause rams ram them forever.

Yes I am. Based out of 44, working 1245, and 47

You?

I’m out of 104, working in 66. Was originally planning on making my way back out to California, but the books have been absolutely slammed up north and down south.

They have. And I think will be for the foreseeable future, at least till guys roll off when work picks up in the winter states

Stock height or you leveled or lifted?

Stock height with auto-level.

I’ve taken some measurements and considered the 0.5” Thuren coils, but I think I’d be ass low in the ALT Ride height mode and I use that often.

I have no issues with chains on the 275/70R18’s I have for hunting, so the slightly taller AT3’s shouldn’t have any fitment issues.
