Curt A25 Height???

I just bought a Curt A25, put it in the bed and it looks low to me. We are camper shopping now so I don't have a fiver to try on it. Any out there with a Curt A25, what holes do you use for the height?

Box height on a 5er can also be adjusted. Doesn't matter if you adjust the box or a hitch or both as long as you get it to a proper height.

Set it at 18" which is max . That should give a good clearance.

I think mine is in the middle or at 17" but I haven't been anywhere near the truck in 49 days with 12 and a wake up to go.

5th wheel is 2018 GD 303RLS (mid size), truck has 285/65R20 mounted. Air set at Alt trailer and the RV is within 1/2" level with the boat hanging off the back.

If you set it at max, you might be nose high but won't be futzing with it when you pick up your trailer. Can always drop it down later.

Better to adjust the hitch, never know when you might need to hookup to another rig to help someone out.
