Update 04 June. I went to arbitration due to 9 repairs and the truck needing a 10th it was determined that my truck is to be bought back by FCA. The mechanics and engineers of FCA were unable to determine the cause. I know others are having the same issue and recommend that you keep notes of everything that has occurred and demand thorough documentation should you bring it to a dealership for repair. Luckily I kept everything, organized time line of events, parts repaired / replaced and was able to articulate the effects have had on safety and value. Utilizing FCA Customer Retention was very difficult and disappointing. They put no limits on how long the process takes for ultimate resolution. The people seemed to be nice but their process is lacking at best. FCA has an arbitration process that is discussed in your manual and worked well in my situation. When arbitration is used the process CANNOT take longer than 40 days (in MD) from the time your file is submitted to the arbitration company. After the decision is made by the arbiter (if in favor of the customer) FCA has 30 days to comply with his / her decision. Recommendation to anyone considering arbitration do not get emotional, present facts, and be organized.
