At $300 per tire (rough numbers - I have seen as low as $288) + Tax (assume 10% = $30) + Mounting / Balancing (Typically $20 per tire but maybe freebee if big customer); Assume 10% discount for fleet buyer (may get more, but thats $30 per tire) - so roughly $1200 if free mtg/balI've dealt with the guy my whole life in business. Our shop is one of his biggest customers. He takes pretty good care of me (even though I'm retired) and he's keeping the Firestones.
So if you are getting new Michelins for $500, he is crediting $700 for Firestones - you are getting a great deal.
