Crank pulley broke

No thats not true at all engine parts internal and external are covered the balancer is not an accessory
Not necessarily true. Read some of the aftermarket warrantees. A LOT of them exclude anything external so if it fails causing internal damage it isn't covered.

Never ever ever buy an aftermarket warranty, they're usually not worth the paper they're written on. One of my neighbours is an adjuster for multiple companies and he says he always looks for the loopholes to deny claims.

Who cares about aftermarket, he said Extended warranty which I would assume is Mopar.

Anyone who falls for aftermarket deserves dealing with headaches.

Any updates to this thread? I own a shop and we do a lot of engine rebuilding. Customer towed a 23 4500 in today with balancer bolts broke off. Swapped the 23 truck with his 22 and 8 hours later the 22 did the same thing. Any explanation why they are doing this other than factory defect?? Both are just over 100k miles. Both show no oil pressure as well which confuses me.
