Cracked Exhaust Manifolds

So I took my PW in for its routine oil change (at 70,000 miles) and had them look into my inverter as it wasn't working. When I bought my truck, I did purchase the extended warranty with it and thankfully it has come in handy. Most of the mileage is just driving around town and i haven't even towed with it yet. While they looked over the truck, the mechanic said they found the exhaust manifolds cracked on both sides and needed to order the parts. It was mentioned that both manifolds were about $5000 to replace but luckily the warranty will cover them. Now I have noticed a rough idle while once it sounded like the engine was knocking for a few seconds and then was fine. The service advisor said they would look into it and let me know if they find anything. The advisor did state that the knocking could be from the manifolds being cracked. I wouldn't think so but I'm not the mechanic.
Just wondering if anyone else has had similar issues and any advice on what to look for next. I am definitely hoping this truck lasts me many more years to come.
