Just curious as to how many miles we have on the new CP4.2 assymetric design and if you’ve had a failure. Mine was built 8/19 and currently has 133,728 miles. All updates have been performed and have not noticed anything unusual yet.

You’re putting on some miles. I’m sitting at 6/19 with 21k no issues yet.

And I’ve been off for a month, not wanting to go back to work. I transport campers, so miles mean money.

5-19 Build, 40,000 miles. No significant issues yet.

3500, Build date of 1/20 with 17,000 miles no issues.

2020 Ram 2500 Limited mega cab. Built 7/20 3k mi, I always use Archoil additive in every tank, as well as I don’t go below 1/4 tank of fuel. Don’t anticipate any problems. Additives are cheap. Low sulfur diesel needs more lubricity than it provides.

7/19. Purchased 4/2020. Miles/7900. Have not observed any issues, however every once in a while I get surging while on the pedal on moderate to upper acceleration. I don’t know if that is a pump issue or just the computer acting weird. Thoughts??

After the VB6 recall, I had a slight surging as you describe. Also a shudder or jerk when on the adaptive cruise when I would slow down behind somebody and then pull out to pass them. After a bit of a tussle with the dealer, I got the latest TSB update. I just drove from Denver to southern UT and it seems to be acting much better. Maybe see your dealer for an updated flash?
