Awesome. I'm leaning in the same direction if the "fix' is not good. How is it so far?

it's a friend's truck. he's the guinea pig for this endeavor. took it on a 800 mile road trip after the swap and it's amazing how much quieter it is. smoother idle, on throttle has improved. did I mention how much less rattling noises were reduced under hood..? those factory pumps are noisy as hell.

a few updates...

the cp3 is miles quieter than the cp4.
mpg improvement of roughly under 2.

still running fabulous.

Did you do any kind of tune or did everything stay stock?

it's tuned. had to get a $100 update for a fresh file that takes the cp3 performance into
consideration.
