Cost of dealer oil change

Well I guess that takes care of oil changes, diy. Hoo rah!!

The Fuel filters are the expensive part . I used to always change my own oil . The Dealer charges $99 oil filter and labor 3 gallons of Rotella synthetic . If I do it the oil on sale cost me $ 63 filter $15 my time and energy priceless ! Sooo for $ 23 dollars I don't have to deal with it . I will change the fuel filters myself . My dealer is only 6 miles away so that makes a short trip.

I got the diesel maintenance package and everything is covered up to 65 bucks for the oil.... supposedly all filters are covered along with the cost of the work...

we'll find out in about 3k miles ;)

yeah I would myself, but I got a nice 8yr warranty and this isn't the toy, is the toy hauler :D

this thing cost so much, didn't care to have to pay for some random crap dying 4 years out....

besides, I've spent enough on the vette....

Some mighty fine bald eagles right there! I miss my corvette days. Don't miss all that money spent.

And hopefully the tech tightens up the drain plug. I have a friend that took their Subaru to the dealer for service and they left the plug loose. It fell out around St. George, Utah. The car only had 8000 miles on it and the dealer and manufacturer fought for months about replacing the car. They just wanted to overhaul the engine. I told her to absolutely refuse that idea. The car would never be the same.

I mark my oil filters and check the drain . Getting my oil changed in one of my rigs years ago . Watching the guy doing it . He filled up the new oil filter put it on then told me to start it up . I asked him if he would put oil in the motor first . He said Oops ! SO I do make sure it is right .
