Wondering if anyone has any experience with the Cooper Rugged Trek? I'm in the market for a bit more aggressive tire than a typical A/T.
10-15% of travel is with 12k 5'r. 2-3% on soft ground or wet dirt roads of the South. Trying to keep Mr. Murphy at bay as best I can.
Looks to be a good tire at face value 55k warranty and 300-400 cheaper than Nitto RG's that have no warranty.

I have a set of 35’s ready to go on my new 2022 when it shows up. I rant the AT3 XLTs on my last 2500 and they were great. I’m looking forward to the rugged treks.

I'm interested to. I haven't found any reviews on HD trucks or towing. I'm between the AT3 XLT and Rugged Trek.

I got 60k out of my AT3 XLTs. I towed my 10k dump trailer and my 12k fifth wheel for 15k of those miles. I was very happy. Gonna give the more aggressive tread a shot though

Ive had such good luck with the falken at3w im going to stick with then when the time comes. I know this doesnt helo with tbe rugged treks but its a solid tire that is a little more agressive than a typical at and might fit your needs.

For what it's worth I have Cooper ST Maxx on my land Rover and they are excellent off road and only a littl louder than a typical AT on road. Good in wet and snow also.

I have them on my 1500. I went from the stock 275/60 r 20 to the 275/65’s. The specs are actually slightly bigger than most 285/65’s at 34.7” tall and 11.5” wide.

I lost about 3 miles local but went from 21-23 highway to 18 highway.

They are significantly better than the AT3’s I had in the rain as well as in the corners. They are slightly louder but not anything significant. They look awesome and if they perform well in the snow they will be the best tires I have tried so far!

I have them on my 1500 as well and love them so far. Much quieter than the BFGs that I replaced them with, at least so far. Good looking tread pattern as well.

Any reason you went with knife edge? I like how they look for sure.

I believe he's referring to the sidewall option that you chose to face outward, as the sidewalls have a different design on each side.
I had no idea they have a different design, just the way the tire shop put them on. They never mentioned it. I guess I'll have to look at the insides today.
