So everytime I start my truck the driver's side cooling seat is on. Isn't a bad thing now that summer is here, but why does it automatically choose to come on?

I've turned it off and reset my driver's setting with it off. However next time I start the truck it is on again? Us there some other auto memory setting I'm missing here?

I'm experiencing the same issue (driver's seat only). jbncccb, don't know if you have the 12 inch screen too, but I just had the radio recall done and after that, this has started happening. The ventilated seat never turned on without operator input prior to the recall service

There is a setting in the Uconnect called "auto on comfort and remote start". There is a setting to turn on the seats and the steering wheel heat, or cooling , depending on temperature, for remote starts or for all starts.

Got mine turned on, wish it would come on, on high though. The wife wishes I could program hers to come on at all. Good thought ram, but just seams Like an after thought

I started having the same problem about a week or so ago and checked the settings, I use to have them turned off but they keep coming back on.. Then I remembered that there was a way for the vehicle to remember which KeyFob used certain settings. I changed to another KeyFob and my issue went away. I wish I knew more about the KeyFob Memory Settings.

Damn key fobs r smarter than we are hemi

The wife and I tried using different key fobs and didn't notice anything different, so just put the second one in the fire safe, jinc.

PRS was correct, there is a setting in Uconnect in the comfort area. It can be programmed on or off at engine start as well as auto start.

Also each keyfob can be programmed to your different settings. The details of how to do it are in the instruction manual.

Also to note, when you program in uconnect this feature to come on, it's only when it gets above a certain temperature will the fan come on and when it gets below a certain temperature the seat heater will come on. You can't change temp settings and unfortunately it only will come on in the low setting. I've got mine turned on but I always go and crank it up to high anyway. Nice feature if you use the remote start
