Would like to see pics of some of your phone mounts. Particularly those that have mounted your phone in the center console area.

On my Silverado, proclip made a mount that attached to the side of the console. Very convenient place I thought.

I've seen the upper dash mounts, but not a fan. Ordered a cupphone mount, but would enjoy seeing other ideas.

I have the proclip vent mount . It’s placement is good, doesn’t rattle, phone is solid even offroad... but it does block some vent flow when a phone is in it. Good placement for nav etc in addition to CarPlay.

Nice. Do you have a part number to share? Was it Ram specific?

That’s the one^^^
Interesting it says not for column shifter, I guess that makes sense. I have the Hemi so not an issue.

Couple more viable options as well that have more universal application potential:

I've been impressed with mine, real solid. I ended up getting the model that attaches to the passenger vent. I was worried about the drivers side blocking my airflow and the cable routing on the passenger side is cleaner in my truck. I don't mess with mine much when it's hooked up so it's not a big deal being further away. I like it out of my way.

The ProClip WILL NOT work with Cummins vehicles. The column shifter gets in way. I had one in 1500 and kept it. Tried installing in current truck and no go. I bought this one off Amazon and it suction cup mounts to side of inner console. I love it. Out of the way and easily accessible when needed.

I like those iOtties, but I have had two of them break on me. The spring system inside the unit gives up.

Those are sweet. The website is a bit vague. Does the double mount block the accessory part in the tray or is it still available?
I have the Bayou double tray mount and it does not block the outlet, take out the tray screws and install, that simple. It is a pain in the rear to tighten the screws though. Had the triple in my 1500, they make a quality product. I use it to mount my trailer cam monitor and TTMS using Clutchit magnetic mounts.

I'm planning to order one from here https://www.bulletpointmountingsolutions.com/collections/2019-ram-truck-1500-2500-3500, similar to the one you mentioned, but uses arms like RAM mounts (Or you can leave their mounts off and use any AMPS mounts like RAM).

Seems like a great option

I have a ram mount in my Toyota but there is no windshield and it mounts directly to the roll cage. I really like the ram mount for a permanent install

I like the magnetic mounts and tried to find one that didn't interfere with the uconnect or sit up so high to cause visual problems. This cost me $20 bucks for the ball mount and I made the aluminum bracket for mounting to the dash. It doesn't block anything I need to see and I can mount it lower or higher to suit my disposition of the day. And it sits in such a position that I don't technically take my eyes off the road to see the screen.7D02684E-02BF-479E-A92D-079B8B6EBCC6.jpeg30642764-E3E4-4905-A12F-55A6F24C5F25.jpeg

The dual Bullet Mount can put phone in the same area. That is where I run mine sometimes.

Glad to get this thread revived. Thanks for the reply Razzman. I ordered one from Bayou. I am looking for space for the TPMS monitor and for a rear view camera when the Momentum is following me around.

No worries, glad to help. If you find that the suction cup mounts are too big consider Clutchit magnetic mounts, they are a lot smaller and hold well. You might have to modify the back of your device to use them though. Here they are on my 1500 setup. I like them as I
can easily move stuff around, left/right and up/down. While space wasn't an issue with the triple mount on the 1500, the double is smaller.

Here's my set up with the Bullet Point Mounts,
