2026 Longhorn with less than 1000 miles in 2 weeks. Navigation and compass, neither work. Everything else works in the 14-inch display. Curious if anyone else is seeing this problem at the moment. Yes, I did do a search related to my problem but not specific to what I see with my truck and the navigation, compass. Even looked for calibrating the compass too but never found anything. But maybe someone could direct me where abouts before calling service department.

Have you tried a "soft reset"? It fixed the compass problem on my 2024 8.4", no-nav, system.

-------------------------------------

To perform a soft reset of your Uconnect system-

1) Put your vehicle into the accessories mode (ACC or RUN)
For keyless start (push-button) vehicles: push the start button twice without having your foot on the gas or brake pedal

2) Hold down the Phone and voice recognition buttons (or tuner and volume knob), at the same time, for thirty seconds.

3) Let go of the buttons

4) Turn the vehicle off

5) Open driver’s side door for thirty seconds (or until dash illumination goes black)

6) Close door

7) Restart vehicle

8) Let the media center load up and see if the concern is still present

Just got in here this morning and will give the above options a try and let you know what the outcome is.
I do have a appointment tomorrow to see what is up with the problem I stated but if I get the fix by myself like stated above then it will be a no go to the dealer. Thanks

Well just got back from dealer and now we have to order a new radio that communicates to the 14-inch main screen. The radio itself works but there must be some of the navigation included with the radio too. Said is bad. So, they say will be close to the end of November too before it is in. Not a real big deal cause I don't use all the time because of car play but still just an inconvenience. But I do like to know what direction I am headed on the screen in front of me if I am in a strange unknown area too.

They even tried the hard reset through their computer system and no go.

Bummer - hopefully that will fix it all!

I have an issue with my 24 3500 Uconnect-- when in Android Auto and I have the map screen displayed, the map orientation will "rotate" about 90 degrees briefly and then return to the correct position. This will happen constantly about once every 30-40 seconds. Irritating as hell. Does anyone know of this issue and whether or not one of the reset methods might help correct it?

Be worth a try to do a reset. Can't hurt.

Mine seems to be doing the same. The factory NAV will load, but won't display compass or work as, well, navigation. @6100D did you end up getting a replacement unit, and does it work?

Yes, had mine replaced. What they have to do is remove the screen and, in the back, side is what they called to me the radio even though my radio did work. Anyway, this works now like it is supposed to. Only took them about an hour but they recalibrated the compass then for me. I still need to get the Sirus radio to work yet but I usually do not subscribe to stuff like that anyway because I can just run off my phone if I want to listen to just music. Besides there is many regular radio stations out there. And all the other stuff on Sirus is just junk to me>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Oh, one other note of interest is the compass I like displayed in the very top of the gauge in front of you. I had both that did not work. Nav and compass. Not just the compass. But both. I wonder if you need to recalibrate your compass seeing your navigation does work where mine did not work. I even tried to recalibrate my compass but no go for me until they replaced my so-called radio behind the main screen.

Yep, same symptom here, I display the compass in the cluster, and it's just 2 dashed lines. I guess the truck will need to go into the dealer for this at some point. Luckily, I don't 'need' that to work.

Sounds like you have the same symptoms as me. Fixed now and works great. Just so you know it took almost 6 weeks to get the part too.
