Cold Weather

I purchased a 2024 Ram Laramie with the 6.7. I am going to Cedar Mountain in Utah for Thanksgiving. I live in Las Vegas and the weather in the mountains will be cold. Is a block heater recommended for the cold temps? If so I understand these motors come with a block heater all ready installed but need an adapter installed before it will work. The temps will be or should be in the low 20 degrees. Should I get the adapter or will this motor be alright without it? What about a fuel additive? Any help will be appreciated.

Plenty fine without the block heater in those temps. Heck you really don’t even need the grid heat in the 20s.
