Absolutely. I used to drive heavy wreckers, and the bodies were always single stage. They always ended up looking like **** after a handful of years.

spend the extra and have it clear coated too. Make sure it always looks just as good as the rest of the truck.

What type of clear coat have you had done, and where? May be interested for a flatbed and storage boxes.

I've used "2k clear" on motorcycle stuff it works pretty good with multiple coats ... however it takes like a month or two to fully cure. Huge downside if you have to use right away.

I havent personally. I was suggesting having whoever paints it then clear it, not just a single stage paint.
