Clunking Noise

Just wanted to put out a feeler and see if anyone else has experienced this...

Currently own a 2019 2500 CTB Laramie Sport with approximately 17K miles, all stock. I recently brought my truck into the dealership because of a clunking noise in the front right side of the truck (my wife can feel it at her feet when riding with me) upon acceleration and deceleration. They kept the truck the entire day to troubleshoot to no avail. Below is the technician's response:

"Possible loose bolts, test drive check for loose parts, none found. Check ball joints, tie rods, bushing, all check good. Tighten body mounting bolts and trans cross member, tighten caliper bolts, check anti-rattle clips, tighten from axle retainers to frame rail, tighten retainers for exhaust system, tighten running boards. Test drive again, still has noise. Install chassis ears but cannot hear noise on front and/or rear axles and it will not do it all of the time. Hook ears to frame rail, cannot hear noise through frame rail. Noise needs to get worse to find at this point."

Also worth adding, that the truck steering doesn't pull left/right. I am at a loss here. Is anyone else experiencing this noise? I'm not sure what "noise needs to get worse to find," if it does it every time I accelerate and decelerate.

And the receiver hitch adapter has been removed from in floor storage if equipped?

Kathryn,

I'm going to bring the truck back into the dealership and ask them to check the cab mounts. Hopefully that is the issue.

DontSlamMyRam,

Yes, I removed that when purchased, it's in my camper.
