Clunking noise

Recently purchased 2022 2500 RAM CREW CAB 4x4 with Cummins 6.7. Only mods are a Boss Snow Plow and changed out stock Firestones 285-60-20’s for BFGOODRICH KO2’s 285-65-20’s. Noticed a clunking sound under center of cab. This was noticeable before plow and tires. The truck came with the snow chief package. Any ideas on what’s loose or out of orientation

Just had in dealer for first oil change. They allowed me to go back so I could look underneath. Mentioned rattle and tech said everything looked tight, i.e. control arms, shocks, coil springs, sway bar and tie rods. Question are the Cab mount bolts secured inside cab so it won’t turn if I tighten from underside ?

They are threaded into the cab, so yes you can TQ them from underneath without issue.

I want to say I’ve seen in the 80ft/lb range, there’s a cab mount thread on the forum somewhere, I’m sure it’s mentioned.
The below thread pos says 90ft/lb.

The only way to check sway bar links is to have it on the ground and shake the truck side to side. Preferably you holding the link while someone else shakes the truck. You just can’t visibly diagnose knocking, clunking or slapping noises without putting some force into it.

Makes sense to me

When I mentioned the cab mounts to dealer they just blew me off. Not real happy with their denial of recalls concerning this issue. But thank you for reaching out to me, much appreciated

Thanks for getting back with me, I’m taking my truck into dealer tomorrow for heater grid relay replacement . I’m having ready lift blocks installed on my truck and they were able to tighten body mounts and eliminated clunking noise. Also, want to mention I’ll be running Fleetgard filters and Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 year round.
