Cleaning up some chrome on a limited

I don’t know how I missed this thread back in May. I guess I was too busy getting ready for the Airstream life.

I’ve got the same color Limited (though in Crew Cab), and hate the chrome, especially the “lipstick” around the grille.

Do you have any more info about how the painter dealt with the chrome, and more importantly, how it’s holding up so far?

Trying to figure that out too. Worried about fitting a 3" lifted 2500 in my garage
 
Thank you for these pics and post. I am doing expedition 1 bumpers and AEV fenders; been struggling with how much chrome to remove. This really helps.
 
What are your plans for the side molding that you removed?
 
I want more details about how the headlights were done. I have a black truck and wish I had night edition but don't. They look great.
