I just installed a sinister diesel cold air intake on my 2020 ram 2500 next day check engine came on with a message coming up on my dash saying service air filter. Any suggestions what the problem could be?

I've read of others on the forum that had the same issue with different air filters. Moving back to the OEM filter stopped the CEL.

Why?

The stock setup flows more air than you'll need for any stock or reasonable off the shelf tune.
Because the blue adds 50hp didnt you know....

Why would Anyone support sinister diesel after them suing people for using blue on their parts because it looked too close to their blue....

Put the factory air cleaner back on and return that piece of garbage

Return it and get a S&B CAI. I’ve had mine for a year and a half with no issues. Turbo and exhaust break sound great.
