My dealer says that the Ceramic Grey option was only open for about 2 weeks for ordering this spring and is still closed with no open date in site (Idaho). Does anyone here with ties to Ram have any info on why this color is not open on the order books? Thanks!! The dealer was able to order 3 trucks before it closed - they look great with the night edition.

Ya can try checking with Granger Motors in IA too see if you get the same info....

Paint was not really available for 2025. The rumor I heard is they would release paint for trucks in the 4th qtr of this year or 1st qtr of next year. As insane as that sounds, Ram was not really trying to sell trucks in 2025 for some reason. 1st qtr will mark over 1.5 years waiting for paint to be re-introduced. Keep thinking there has to be a logical explanation, but I sure don't have one. I am waiting on Flame Red. Which they still use in all the marketing for the PW, but cant get. Its like dull, boring colors or Molten Red( which took forever to be released). Maybe they focused on fleet sales for 2025?

It definitely wasn't a great year to order a truck for colors. But I'm with you on the "fleet sales" comment. They built a ton of tradesman's, duallies and 2500's in various trims. Still no 3500 Laramie's with Hemi... Soon though (fingers crossed). I gave up on Red also. went with blue instead.

I was able to order a 2500 in ceramic gray in early July 2025 (Pennsylvania). I ordered thru local dealership. I checked recently and apparently it's built (but not shipped). Glad to see I'm not the only one who noticed the limited color options.

We recently went to buy a new Rav4 and wanted forest green. They told us its unavailable now and we could only get white, or blue. I told him to forget it and went home. He phone later that day
and miraculously could get it now.
Found out from a friend that's a mechanic at Toyota that sales people will push what ever surplus colors they have and tell you they can't get the color your looking for or give you a long deliver time in hopes
you buy the surplus color. In our case they wanted to push the white which we didn't want at all.
Not that this is your case but just to show how some of these stealerships work.

I figured it was because they rolled out a bunch in one color, then switched to another color and so on and didn't want to have to tool back up for a color they already sold out of.

Got told that when i went to buy my wife a 25 Rav 4 back in January, told them I would wait until one came in then got the call it would be a good 4 weeks for that color to arrive and get unloaded off the ship at the PDX unloading doc, it only took 12 days until the wife drove it off the lot..

Car salesmen have a bad reputation for a reason... I wonder if they know why, we all do. lol
