Have you used a specific brand you would recommend and how satisfied are you with the results?

I'm in the same boat as you. That will be a first for me as well. But from what I have seen, if I would buy today, I would go with this product:

CarPro CQuartz UK 3.0 (2 coats) + CarPro Gliss Top Coat. That should last 2 years+ .

There are tons of low cost products as low as $30 out there. Most likely Chinese knockoffs. I would stay away unless credible reviews.

Uncertainty of the quality of the product is what’s keeping me from using it. I like the guy in the video you posted, he does a nice job. He’s also a big proponent of Turtle Wax products. I’m going to sit on the sidelines until I have more confidence in a reputable product. I typically keep a truck about 3 years so I’m still only investing $30 with the sealer wax. There are more innovative products coming from reputable companies where you wash and wax at the same time and it really does work. That helps to supplement the seal & shine or hybrid wax. I try to keep mine shiny as shiny as I can.

CarPro is a reputable company and sells top quality products. They are probably the 2nd leading company in ceramic coating after CeramicPro, which is more geared toward professional detaillers...
So, unless your definition of reputable is "must be a Turtle Wax product", I would not look too far.
