where do you install cb or fm radio??

if you want to cut down on your am noise floor, go direct to the batt.

Our group uses mobile UHF radios on our atv's and utv's for trail riding , and we also have some installed in our trucks when travelling in a group to and from rides in various states. I installed mine in the drawer below the center stack so its out of site, and use a puck type antenna on the roof.

I use GMRS Midland radios. All of mine are tucked behind the center console. I installed an RJ45 connector to plug the handset in when needed and take it out when not.

How are you guys running the antenna wire? Did you drill through the firewall or something else?
I have run mine along the underside of the truck and up through the sill of the back door. I will eventually try a better more concealed way in.
