My garbage Uconnect 5 on my 2022 will not let me access app pages unless I do a soft reset then lose it again next day. Also the weather app is not working again. Has been sporadic at best but now will not work at all. Hope it’s not part of Ram Connect. Wish I had the Sirius/xm weather and travel app.
 
I am having the same problems with uconnect5 no apps, no weather and androidauto is almost impossible to use wireless it just flips on and off.
 
Same here with weather, I've never seen it work. For apps - It works some of the time, and has always temporarily come back when I do the soft reset by holding the power button for 15 seconds. I have Apple, so no experience with the Android side of it.
 
I also have the problem where the apps wokt load unless i do a hard restart. Then works for a day, then quits again, really frustrating on a 90k truck. I also feel like the harmon kardon sound system is hard to get adjusted right. Xm sucks, bluetooth ok, pandora better. Sometimes i feel like the 21 laramie 1500 i traded in with the alpine was better than this longhorn 2500 with the Harman kardon.
 
My screen was totally dead on my new 22’. Had to disconnect the negative battery and let it sit a few minutes. Now it’s at least back on, but CarPlay seems to kick in and out.
 
Negative on the 72-hour wait period, Ram Cares has sent it (TomTom Maps will not update) back to engineers.

These UC5 issues have gone on long enough. In fact, it's well past that. It's time to escalate this before you start losing loyal RAM customers.

Many of us here are in the IT/software world and find this unconscionable if not downright egregious.

For the record, I've never once had any issue from my UC4 12" system including since I self-updated to the last release.
 
I am in the same boat OP. Apps have worked twice since owning the truck. I don't even know what it offers... I'm mad just because it's a new truck and it's not working. Plus for what i paid for this truck... Random reboots even, I have all documented on my phone . And I thought Sync 3 sucked with Ford... it's worlds better.



My wife thinks I only have 3 guns
 
I am having app issues also. They work about 50% of the time. I did find a way to get them back in my situation. I power the 12" display off and back on (not reboot) and they are working again.

Yea i do that too but only wotks for a few hours or a day then right back at it.
