Can you add auto climate control??

Did you ever get this worked out? I am looking to do the same upgrade with the same stock components. I've got a 22 BH w/ 8.4 non-nav. Mine has the plug there for the cabin sensor as well. I found the auto climate controls near me for $300, another $100 for the sensors. What did you do about the BCM update?

Yes. Used alfaobd, it's all earlier in this thread.

I was looking at implementing this feature and as I was poking around under the console, I came across a plug that seems like it may be the temperature sensor plug!
I have a '22 Tradesman, 8.4 non NAV, standard climate knobs.
The plug was paper taped up to another harness so, when I went to pull at it to see it's length, it came right down, plenty long.
The plug & wiring matches this, Here
first pic is looking up behind the center from drivers footwell... Thoughts? @Jimmy07
Sun sensor is 68230115AB so, guessing the 68230114AB is still needed?

Sorry for kicking an old thread but I can’t seem to locate this wire, are you looking behind the radio? Upper left?

You may not have the wire. It wasn't there on my 2020 Tradesman 2500.

I don't have a lot to add from the post quoted but, I'm looking up and behind the radio, yes, from the left, driver floor. The sensor goes to the little cutout on that lower panel so, the wire won't be far off from there. Haven't seen others post they have it so, luck of the draw, I guess.

I am adding the auto feature to my 22 tradesman. I haven’t looked yet but I’m hoping it’s there like yours was. I’ll look later today and report back. I do know my truck was pre wired to add power and heated seats.

Finally got around to looking at this. I have the same truck as ZaTHRaS, 22 tradesman 8.4 non nav and the wiring for the cabin sensor is not there. Really weird that his truck had it and mine doesn’t.

I got this bezel from Infotainment, along with the sensor and harness, all is working but the bezel is a different size than my original one.

See image below and look at the distance from the screen opening to where it meets the larger bezel. The screen mounts to the larger bezel so it does not move. The monitor is about 1/8" too low and it blocks the letters on the icons., it works but looks bad.



Anyone know if the monitors are different.

The manual temp control and monitor came from Infotainment too, upgraded from the little radio.

I just looked at my 21 tradesman and it has the wires. So I just ordered the controls, and going to get the sensors. I hope I can figure the alpha obd thing out.

For anyone curious about the in car temp sensor wiring connector, here's some pics. Mine was folded and taped up against the other wiring behind the VSIM bracket (2 hex head bolts in the middle of the pics).
