I had no idea how to describe this in the thread title, so here we go... I was curious if it was possible to program a "clear flood" cranking event into the start button. When the Hemi starts up cold (and especially really cold outside) its pretty common to hear the valvetrain pump up for a second or 2. I know this is normal, but if you manually "clear flood" (which is holding both pedals to floor before pushing the start button for those that aren't familiar to what I'm talking about) the engine is nice and quiet because it has already primed its oiling system. Please don't flame me on 'it's a waste of time", or start an oil type/weight argument. I was just curious if it was possible to program the truck to crank the starter until it sees a pressure reading, then actually activate the ignition/fuel systems. Thanks for hearing me out.
