Wow, been gone a while, I traded in my 2500 for a new Land Rover Defender 110 a little over a year ago. At the age of 66 I can only call it my late life crisis. Now don’t get me wrong, it’s a bad ass, supercharged V8, 500 HP, 0-60 4.5 seconds. I miss my big truck, today I read about the new 2027 TRX 752 HP, I’m thinking I want to trade again. What say ye?

Go for it!

Thinking about those 2 vehicles, to me it's a decision of do you want a pickup or an SUV? Both are amazing, capable vehicles, both are fast, neither handles well so it's really a straight line power play, not going to hammer the gas pedal in twisty roads. So do you prefer size and heft and useful bed of the Ram, or smaller form factor and enclosed rear storage of the Defender?

Just me personally ... I'm not all that interested in the huge power pickups. When I was buying my Ram I wanted a pickup with more than average power, something that moves when you want it to and tows well, great winter vehicle. But I have a Tesla S for when I want to go fast, 0-60 2.8 seconds. I don't want to tow with the Tesla, don't want to drive the Ram like a sports car, so I have both to satisfy each depending on what I'm doing. To me that's the best of both worlds.
