Cab/Chassis Rear Camera....missing?

Bought a brand new 60" Cab/Chassis club cab Laramie with 12" display. The truck came equipped with the upfitter package with a large white cloth bag holding 4 seperate bags with harnesses in each. The white cloth bag was torn open and a small black plug with with trailer icon on it that looks to be some sort of a video cable fell out on the ground. It looks to be a plug for a camera. The other 4 bags were not opened. Did someone steal the camera? If yes, does anyone know what parts are supposed to be there? Still waiting on the dealer to reply.

Does the window sticker indicate that the missing camera was optioned?

Thank you for the reply SuperJoe....Just heard back from the dealer, who contacted the rep. The build sheet reveals that a camera was NOT included....which is good, meaning no theft...So, now I am searching for info for a rear camera and harness which yield millions of results but none of which filter down to OEM Mopar for a 2024 4500 Laramie with 12" display.

As it's a cab/chassis, I don't believe the backup camera is actually part of the package. I had to add one when I took delivery of my C&C and had the bed installed. If your display is not already programmed to utilize one, you will need to install the camera and then have the dealer reflash the system to enable integration of the backup camera. I believe the stock part number is:

Rear View Camera - Mopar (68274731AE)​

That was not compatible with the bed I had installed, so I ended up ordering:

SKU: CS-19DTRSM-CC-5-C

Looks like the same part number covers the 2024's since nothing has really changed.

BubbaWilkins... Where did the plug at the end of the wiring harness for your Plug & Play Surface Mount Camera Kit plug into... the harness by tail lights or under the dash?​

There should be a bundle of cables/connectors at the back of the frame for upfitter connections. one should be labelled for the camera.
