my 19 6.7L 2500 did not come with fog lights. I was tracing the wire harness because I have the fog light button on the knob. This way I would be able to install after market fog lights. However, I found these wires bundled and taped together under the fuse box. Can anyone help me with this?E98C1B3F-883D-4681-BED2-BD2F83A83E1E.jpegE20D4977-333E-47C6-AB12-D7AAFB882929.jpeg

Its for Plow lighting..... if you don't have foglights you don't have the button you are most likely seeing the cargo light button

You’re right!! Thanks I don’t have the button. I guess the best option is to install aux switch for fog lights. If the plow lighting cables are there, is there other side connected to anything? A button or something? I tried to look into a diagram. There are no open aux switches from factory installed.

They are made to connect to a plow relay harness or isolation module

Do all the trucks (trims) have these blunt cut "trigger" wires present?

I could not remember i know before 2019 they did not get them..... on a side note any idea what the 7th wire in that bundle is for? There is a solid green (i think green) on my 19 and i can not find anything about it

All 2015-2018 HDs get the wires except for power wagon.
I believe the green wire is so you can ground it, and fault monitoring for all rear facing lighting will be disabled for upfitter beds with LED lighting.

Correction what I said above about that “green” blunt cut wire. It should be green/gray stripe, and it is for a PTO wired remote.

oh I unclipped and had all those fuse boxes pulled out when I installed the aux wiring kit. I'll have to go check a few pics but man, I had that whole area stripped out and don't remember seeing it. it's likely there though, based on that doc.
