Bumper Paint Fading

Ugh! Noticed the paint on the passenger side of bumper is starting to fade. Anyone else seen this happening? Normal for a 3 year old truck with limited sun exposure? My warranty repair list is building.

If that were my truck, it would probably be from me standing up there to reach chit in the engine compartment. I'm not a tall man...

Rustoleum black textured spray paint looks great on bumpers and chassis stuff :thumbsup:

My 2023 doing same thing on front bumper ...

The PW has powdercoated bumpers. You shouldn’t see fading like that unless something has damaged it. Alternatively it could be wax or soap buildup.

Dealer back ordered a new bumper under warranty. Might take a bit to get in but I’m glad they are addressing the issue. I noticed a blue tick mark on the bumper on that spot since day 1. I wonder if someone or one of the robot scanners marked it as defective during the QC process

Most of my bumper paint is scraped off on boulders and such, but you cannot tell due to all the mud.

My 2023 powerwagon had the top of the bumper of driver side fade after only 1500 miles and 6 months of ownership. The dealership fought me for a couple of months but after me pushing them they finally replaced it. My powerwagon has never been of road or abused in anyway. The only thing that I have done to the out side is handwash it.

Looking at your picture, mine was worst than that. I seen alot more white as far as length and width.
