FYI, ANY Dodge Dealer can look up that part and search ALL other Dealer inventory. They can even recall the part to warehouse inventory if the stocking dealer allows it then sell it to you. Or they can contact the stocking Dealer on your behalf to secure the part or they can give you the stocking dealers Info and let you contact them yourself. A good parts Man is a WEALTH of info.

Yet they have enough parts to build trucks. Seems Ford and GM are as bad or worse.

I ordered a 2025 3500 Longhorn CCSB SRW 4X4 with the diesel in forged blue last week. It still wasn’t showing up on the tracking site with my VON today. Tonight I got a call from my dealer and was told the factory says the forged blue is “built out,” and can’t be ordered! I asked what was available, and they said the black, white, and grey are listed as available, but so is the forged blue, so they don’t know for sure. I would love to know what is really going on.

I ordered a 2025 Laramie 3500 DRW long bed, diesel, forged blue the 14th of last month and scheduled to be built the 26th. I have not heard anything else since

Did you have 5th wheel prep on it? Or ramboxes remaining

Seems like after releasing the 2025 late in 2025 as an after thought, Ram wants to jump ahead to 2026. Must be reasons, but hopefully we will know more soon. First announcements on Jun 6th. But for Ram to turn down so many sales when they desperately need to build, there must be changes coming for 2026. If not, then man they need more help then we thought. Why even have all the colors on the website?

I cant imagine any change that would affect color choices. I don't see any changes until 2028 if any at all seeing where Ram is financially. Ford spent the last 20 + years making small improvements on their body and frame and imagine the same with Ram.

I have seen these weird acts before. Take Ram Boxes. My truck came with out them because they ran out of red prepainted ones in 2017, and the dealer neglected to call me if I wanted to wait. So if they are needing to use some parts up for model changes, they tend to have odd availability. Also only want fleet vehicles left to sell when the new model comes out, hence no paint. How else do you reconcile a year with out paint choices?

I got an update after I contacted Ram. It appears Stellantis recalled the part and is having it shipped to my dealer. The dealer said that Stellantis had to get involved because dealers that had the part wouldn’t get rid of it and was keeping it for their own dealership and customers. The Stellantis Rep told me if for some unforeseen reason my truck isn’t fixed by our 3500mi trip in two weeks, they would reimburse me for a vehicle capable of pulling our camper after I sent her the receipts. She also provided her direct line. Lady was very nice actually and seemed like she would be helpful. The dealer called and confirmed the part is on its way to them. Fingers crossed it fixes the issue with my truck. It is flawless so far other than the trailer brake module making the 7-pin not function.

Rambox + Forged Blue is a constraint currently, it was still showing as available in the order software but that is likely what is holding things up.
Morning Anthony, some members are saying that by months end the 2025 will be shut down to make room for 2026 modles. Seems way early to me for 2026 modles.

That is what we were told - but on the 1500s that timing had quite a bit of give to it.
To be clear - ORDERING closes about 2 months before PRODUCTION closes.
The NEXT year's ordering CAN but not always opens after prior year ordering closes, sometimes a gap in between.
The NEXT year's production will not start until current year production is complete.

Historically, that seems about normal to me. Then new ones out around September. I think what feels odd for 2025 was such a late start to production and release of the model. I just hope if I have to wait for a 2026, it better be by October, lol.

Honestly I ordered my 2018 in July 2017 delivered in November due to trying to find trains in Mexico. Most manufacturers order books open in July-September for the next year and by September they are making the next year. Clearly, insane chaos at Ram, but again, makes me wonder will there be surprises for 2026.

Refreshing to hear a manufacturer step up like thus.
