I have a big horn edition that was stripped down. It has the 5" Uconnect. I want to upgrade to the 8 or 12". does anyone know if this is possible. None of the dealers near me have any clue. I'm also curious if it's possible and easy to switch from single climate zone control to the dual climate control?

+1 for Nismopar. I just got mine from them yesterday and got it installed in about 15 minutes. Well worth the money.

Yes, the radio swaps are possible, and easy. You can source the parts yourself WAY cheaper than the nismopar link above (you can actually get the 12” swap done for that price with brand new parts).
Dual zone is a bit harder because you need a new HVAC box, temp sensors installed into the distribution housing, and a custom harness. The swap requires complete dash removal and for the AC system to be evacuated.

Infotainment.com carries what you want, plug and play.

I don’t think there is any way you could do a 12 inch swap with brand new parts for $1600. The screen alone runs about $1400. The radio is another $700 and then you need a new bezel which will run about $300. So you’re at about $2400 for a swap. Then you also have to have your truck flashed by the dealer. That is another $100. So about $2500 for a 12 inch swap.

You need to think outside the box. You use the screen from a 2019 ram 1500, since it is only $475. Radio module is $675. Use AlfaOBD or Jscan to enable the DCSD, and you’re at $1700 brand new. Trust me, I’ve helped dozens of people do the 12” swap, and it’s easily done for $1700.

Interested. Do you have part numbers for screen and module?

Jimmy it seems your the one with the answers. I have a 22 Bighorn 2500 and don't really have too many things on the upgrade wish list that isn't easily easily done. I am, however, interested in upgrading the rear seat, driver's seat and headlights. Buying the factory LED headlights, are they plug and play or is it just better to go after market Morimotos or alfarex?

I would have ordered the truck with these options but at the time it was a market to buy what was on the lot.

bighorn led reflector housings are 12 pin, same as the halogens. Just need to make a few bcm changes with alfaobd or jscan.
