Beginning my MODs (Updated 2/3/24)

<div class="bbWrapper">We’ve had our truck for almost a year now and I couldn’t be more happy. Coming from the Ford world I am super pleased with the performance. <br /> <br /> So we needed a 3/4 ton to pull a 40’ 5th wheel and I didn’t want or need the expense of a Diesel. So we found a 2020 6.4 tradesman with 10,000 miles on it. While it’s not basic it is lacking some of the things I enjoy in a truck. After much reading and research I have several things I want to do and I enjoy the research and sharing my upgrades. So, I will, to the best of my ability, document and share my progress and defeats. <br /> <br /> First thing I did was found a set nicer OE wheels put on a set of Toyo Open Country M/T’s. <br /> <br /> Here is a list of the things I plan to do. <br /> <br /> 1. 5” to 8.4” upgrade<br /> 2. DIY Aux switches <br /> 3. Power fold mirrors<br /> 4. Proximity door handles<br /> 5. 360 Surround Cameras<br /> 6. BSM sensors <br /> 7. Bed lights <br /> 8. Front fog lights <br /> 9. Front park sense<br /> 10. Additional lighting front and rear <br /> 12 OEM fender flairs<br /> 11. And if anyone can it worked out I want to add the adaptive cruise. <br /> <br /> Here is a before and after with the new wheels and tires.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I must say the Mopar bed lighting is not worth it except for the switch near the tail gate. <div class="bbWrapper">I just purchased the same lights again to use on my running boards.... my previous truck had the mictuning brand leds in the bed and they lasted over 10 years no issues. So far I&#039;m happy with Nilight brand as well. YMMV</div>

I want to thank everyone for all the post and information I was able to read through that allowed me to piece together my unit. I ordered most of my parts individually and put it together. <div class="bbWrapper">Removal is pretty straightforward. Because I ordered individual parts, I had to disassemble the original for the screws and to remove my trailer brake control and 12 volt plug that I reused on my install. <br /> <br /> Disassemble</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">After I removed the screws and parts I needed the reassembly was pretty easy. I added an Aux switch panel with front park sense which I intend on adding at a later point. <br /> <br /> Assembly part 1</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">As far as the reinstall it was dark when it put the radio back in but it was exactly opposite of how I unplugged everything. Th final product is hand and feet above the the 5”. I am extremely happy with how it turned out. I did have to get a security code to activate the radio as it was used. <div class="bbWrapper">I did not get to take any pictures of the process of the up grades as I bought the parts but the body shop put everything together. I did install the wiring harness on the bumper for the fog light and front park sense and the camera in the grille but that is all. <br /> <br /> The MODS include front pull eyes, front camera in preparation for the 360 cameras, night edition headlights with LED bulbs, fog light with LED bulbs, and front park sense. I think it looks much better from the front.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Got my EVIC installed today. Looks super good. I found a power wagon cluster on Facebook and sent it to Frank Harrison at OEM Solutions and he corrected the mileage and hours and changed the lens to say RAM instead of Power Wagon. I am super happy with how it turned out and it’s so much better looking.</div>
