Beep while accelerating???

New owner of a 2022 Cummins HO. When I accelerate through 40mph, sometime between 35 and 40 the radio makes a quick beep noise. Almost the same time as the park sensors, but very short and a bit quiet. You can easily hear it without the radio on, though with soft music you hear it too. I’ve tried windows up and down, all kids of things going on the radio, and it’s pretty much always there.
Anyone else have issue with this? I did my test drive in the rain, so there was no way I could hear it then… and that was last night. Maybe there’s a setting I’m missing? I don’t see any lights flash.

Are your parking sensors clean? I've experienced the same short quiet beep (in my 1500) if a bug got splattered across a sensor after highway driving.
 
Parking sensors are clean, and it’s not the red light cameras…
I’ve narrowed it a bit to happening only during harder acceleration. It doesn’t happen if I go lightly. I’ve tried the traction control on/off, and disabled notifications… still happens. And it seems to be right at the shift between 3rd and 4th gear. I have no clue.

My '18 3500 HO would squeak/chirp during the 3-4 shift under hard acceleration, I haven't heard my '22 do it but on the '18 is was normal clutch noise, they use an aggressive material that will sometimes make noise during clutch application
 
Is it coming through the radio or something mechanical?

This sounds like it’s coming through the radio maybe. How can I completely shut the radio off to verify? I meet with the dealer in the morning at 9am for a drive to have him hear it…

Okay I’ll be honest. I had to look that up. I’m new to diesels, and while I’ve certainly heard turbos spool, I’ve not heard the chirp. I couldn’t find a video of one on a Cummins, but I saw some on other cars. It sounds similar to that, but I don’t think I can hear it with the windows down. I’ll have to double check that.
 
Just rode with a service manager… He heard the chirp, but thinks it’s wastegate noise from the boost….

Figured it would be. Under hard accleration, you're at max boost on the turbo and the gear change necessitates relieving the excess boost pressure through the wastegate.

There is no wastegate on the VGT. I will have to see if I can get my truck to make the noise this weekend and will report back

Find a new service manager he does not know his products… there is no wastegate and stock you wont have any turbo bark

Learned something new. I'm curious what it is though as I definitely hear a distinct chirp under hard acceleration from 3rd-4th. I just thought it was excess intake pressure being vented.
 
So then… is it maybe when the TC engages? I don’t think it’s the wastegate (or related to boost pressure if they don’t have one)… I can’t replicate the noise under the same boost pressures in different gears while shifting. It only happens when shifting under load between 3-4.

It could be the trans if the aisin it has been reported to do that for many years with no issues
