Hi Kathryn. Is this dealer specific? I'm not seeing this coupon under my particular dealership when using your link.

Actually, it doesn't appear for my particular dealership closest to me, it does for one farther away indicating not all dealerships are participating in this 15% off accessories. I can PM you my dealership if you want to check for yourself.

Kathryn,

Still waiting for my voucher of the bed step. What is taking so long?

Kathryn,

I was promised a voucher for a bed step for my truck when Ram Care's called me. I feel that Ram owes me a step assembly for my truck. U removed it before shipping my truck from Mexico.

Not going to happen. They've changed their stance to the "voucher" being the discount code that anyone on the planet can get. In other words...No step for you. (or me...or anyone else that got caught in the middle of this whole thing.)

Kathryn,
Pretty poor to do this to loyal Ram owner's. Won't be a 6th ram for me.
Not a way to switch an d bait us. Promise is a promise.

Yup, appears so.

If they removed it in production, you didn't get charged for it. If you did that's an issue to take up with your selling dealer.

For those that already have a MOPAR.COM login, I would not recommend using the link provided as it will change your dealer to the one shown.

Rather, just log into your mopar.com account and scroll down to find all the coupons. FWIW, my dealer here in CO offers the discount.

That said, you may have to haggle to get a discount on installation if you can't turn a wrench. I can't say if they will add the sales code if you DIY. For that matter, they may not if they install it...

The 15% brings the cost of the step down about $10 less than allmoparparts.com and other online retailers. I notice there is a new p/n 82215842AH now on the mopar's site in addition to the 82215842AF (also mopar site) and the 82215842AG (allmoparparts.com)

The 82215842AF (replaces 82215842AC, 82215842AD, 82215842AE) states 2500 only in the description but shows the 3500 in the fitment list regardless. I know it is one of the new re-engineered steps. Now the 82215842AG on the allmoparparts.com site says it replaces the 82215842AF. Given the factory numbering system, it would appear the 82215842AH would be the latest and greatest. So all are the same price, fit the same models and model years 19, 20, and 21. Glad this isn't confusing.

AG is ordered for my truck. Glad no problems.
Installed the bed step last night, no issues other than I couldn't get a torque wrench on the small bolt so I tightened it manually. Man, when you push the step back under the bumper it really does clank into place. I assume that's normal because of the arm spring.
