Bed size differences

I’ve found a bed cover that is advertised to fit a 2019 - 2023 Ram Classic 1500
My truck is a 2022 2500. Both beds are 6.4. But I’m told it won’t fit my truck
Trying to understand why

It will fit. Some of those adds don’t have proper sizing charts

I've recently sold a truck canopy, originally came off 4th gen, used on my 2019 (6-4 box) and sold it to a guy with RAM 1500. Perfect fit. I don't see why a bed cover won't fit.

The top edge of the tailgate has changed in width over the years. If a bedcover was designed to fit completely over the tailgate, I could see potential issues with some years/models.

Like others have said, only thing that might not work or you like the look of is the overall width not covering the side rails, but length wise you should be 100% fine. I bought a Tyger Auto (I think) bed cover off of Amazon that fit just fine even though I had my doubts.
