What are you guys running for bed covers with 5th wheel or gooseneck? I would like to put a rack on it too if possible either through a track or through the cover. the only one i have seen able to do this is the diamondback switchback. i just don't know if I like that the panel against the cab can't be opened

I run a Softtopper with mine and love it. And they have a rack system that it's possible to run with it also.

I have the undercover flex. When i hook up my gooseneck i just fold the back 3 sections forward and latch them in.

I used both a soft or hard roll up cover when i I had a bed...the tri folds are not as user friendly with a gooseneck or 5th wheel hitch.

I am planning to buy the Bak Revolver x4ts for this same use case. It has t-slots for a rack.

Able to fold my UnderCover Ultra Flex flat and run with goose hitch 5th wheel no issues in shortbed 2500 and 3500.

i have used both a retrax and bakflip mx4 with a gooseneck and with a 5th wheel on my drw megacab short bed. no issues. only thing to watch for if the cover fold or rolls above the bed rails make sure you have clearance for the 5th wheel nose when turning.

Adarac has a rack that uses rails that clamp into the stake pockets. If you got one of those, you can still use any of the covers that sit inside the bed rails and don't block the pockets, which is many of them.

But I am confused on how you plan to tow a GN or 5W with a rack.

Thanks all- i ended up with a retrax with the t slots. as for the rake, I got yakima bars and cargo box. I know the beach trips will be nicer being able to put some of the soft stuff or sandy stuff up in the cargo box.

I plan on not running the bars unless I need them, leaving the short little feet in the track.
