Bed/Cab Alignment 2020 3500

I just bought the 2020 3500.... I’m not impressed with the alignment of how the cab and bed comes together... anyone else?

Noise, mega cab body looks shifted, and tsbs??

I have a 2019 2500 Cummins mega cab. Anyone else have a noise when going over bumps sounds like the rear storage bin tops is unlatched and opening and closing but they are not..?? Also noticed that cab seems to be shifted towards the passenger side. If I look at rear bed to cab on pass side...

80/20 cab/bed, but what's odd is the quick measurements I did frame rail to cab seam or bed seam are not far off on either. Stacking I suppose.

Same problem here, the frame to panel measurement on the bottom of the panels on both sides are dead equal for cab and bed, the top just seems to lean toward the passenger side. The top of panel of the bed flush with the cab on passenger side, probably close to 3/4 inch in on the driver side.

Hey Brutal, hopefully this isn’t a dumb question, but when you say stacking, what do you mean? You talking shims at the mounting points or something like that?

tolerance stacking - one bit is a little off, and another bit on top of that is a little off and multiplied by distances gets you a lot off, even though it starts small.

Mine doesn't appear to be a vertical issue.

Had an AR lower like that once that wouldn't mate to most of my uppers, ended up trading parts.

I’m just gonna loosen the bolts on the bed and shove it around until my eye likes it and call it good at that point.

If I moved the bed much, the pucks would be wonky. Maybe 1/8" on the bed and the rest on the cab. Pretty sure most of mine is the rear of the cab is shifted. The fender to bumper alignment looks OK.

What you said! Can't unsee it.
Something seemed off with my panel alignment. But I couldn't quite place what it was.
Stumbled across this and other threads.
Observed mine looks exactly like brutal's pics above (except mines Max. Steel).
Magically, my head's about to implode.

I moved my cab over with the jack under the seat, Placed it between the frame rail and the cab, used a short 2x4 to distribute the force. Moved easy and looks a lot better now.
