So the center bushing(that cannot be replaced) in both of my front control arms are torn. Sounds like loose body mounts, but after checking the torque on those bolts, they are fine, and I found the torn control arm bushings that I think are making the mystery noise. Learned that Ram wants you to replace the entire control arm instead of providing the bushing as a replacement part. BDS makes control arms for these trucks that go to a standard two bolt setup. Not worried about losing the 1 inch of additional articulation. Looked at CJC offroad and cannot justify spending 1800 on some fabricated arms when the BDS units are 600 for both. Question is, does anyone think these will stand the test of time? Have not heard bad things about BDS. I run FSR's mainly around my area and some harder trails from time to time. Nothing crazy.

You could look at Metalcloak. I have used their parts on a jeep I was very happy with the parts. Springs and upper and lower control arms.
