I hope someone can help me out. I bought the truck this way, so I do not know its history. I am having electric issues and now think it could be my BCM. Passenger tail light parking light does not light, and it does show tail lamp out message. I am only getting 5-6 volts at the plug pin for the parking light. Brake and turn sinal work. I can jump 12v to the plug in the front drivers wheel well and parking light works. I still get tail lamp out message. Drivers side passive entry does not work. Passenger works, push to start works. Rear windows do not work form the rear door swich or the drivers switch. Drivers and passenger window do work. The lights in the drivers and rear door window switches do not light up. The passenger switch light does. Does this sound like the BCM?

Yes. I checked fuses, wiring, plugs. The reason I think it could be the BCM is that the plug in the wheel well only has 6v for thr passenger parking light and 12v for the drivers. That plug is only a few feet from the BCM and I believe comes directly frrom the BCM. If I jump 12v at that plug to the passenger wire the parking light works.

The wiring in the rear doors from cab to door is notorious for failing and could be pulling power down somehow.

I don't know what year they finally fixed it with better wire, but something to check.

Do the door speakers work?

If you find them broken, either fix yourself or buy the OEM part. The Dorman part is garbage. The ones I put on my 045. only lasted 2 years.

Door speakers and the ambient lighting do work. I will check the wires from door to cab.
