Battery trouble

Nope, shouldn't matter.

You'll be fine. The truck will work it out. The only reason it needs to know the battery levels is for load shedding if it thinks they're running low, and for control of the alternator output. If it's not confident in its assessment then it'll just be more conservative until it is.
OK. Thanks for the help and info.

Installing an AGM battery is OK for a 2022 Cummins, correct? I want to put a couple COSTCO Interstate ones soon.

Anybody ever have their AGM battery sound like it's got a light boil / bubbling going on inside when charging it? I took my Interstate branded charger off and exchanged the battery for a new/different one. Thought it maybe wise to just charge them full before putting them in the truck, but I guess not.

I had no idea this battery 'registered' was a thing. Learn something new every time on this forum.
Only on some vehicles. Not on Rams. Just slide in the new battery. That said, I did a hot change on mine. Removed one battery while protecting the cables and installed it. Then did the other the same way. That way, the electronics never lost power.

Correct. Just put two AGMs in mine. No issues.
Hey CdnHO, what voltage did your batteries read when you initially installed them. Do they go to 14vdc when you are driving? I just installed two agm batteries and I cannot get them higher than 12.2 vdc.

12.2 with the truck running? If that is the case then it’s not charging. While driving I am seeing around 14.

Thanks CdnHo, I guess I just needed to hear that from someone else. I'm fixin to go through the battery sensor, fuses, relays, and switches to see if one of them are inoperable. I will post an update when I sort it out.
Thank you!!!

Let me know if you need a schematic. I probably have one.
